Along the Aurelia, halfway between the countryside and the sea of the Etruscan Coast, is located the town of Venturina Terme. It is a modern town, recently developed, but still surrounded by nature, rich in shops and gastronomies.
Despite the young age of the town, its territory boasts an ancient history that dates back to Etruscans and Romans. In this area, experts have found several archaeological remains of the time, but the most relevant testimonies are the thermal bath of Caldana. Etruscans and Romans were aware of the thermal spring and usually exploited it for personal relax and wellness. The original spring is still exploited for the same purposes in a modern wellness center. Among the service of the center there are even beauty treatments, massages and therapeutic mud.
