Farmhouse Follonica

Follonica is located right in the center of the gulf enclosed between the promontories of Piombino and Punta Ala, in front of the Island of Elba. The city enjoys a wonderful view of the island and of the sea that surrounds it.
The city is really modern and alive, it is a popular tourist destination mostly appreciated for the long sandy beaches. It offers a mild climate, calm water, wide pine forest and a quiet and relaxing atmosphere that families really love.

In the past centuries, Follonica was famous for the artistic processing of iron and cast iron coming from the mines of Elba, an activity that now is disappearing.
